This is a HUGE value freebie -- worth around $50! Rewards Gold magazines DO come, too -- I have several subscriptions coming from them right now. This might be a good idea for a Father's Day gift, too!

Hellmann's is the ONLY mayo people use in south Louisiana. I dunno how I'll like the light version of it, but hey... it's free!

I like trying out new health and beauty products, especially when they're free. I hate spending a couple of bucks on something I may use once and go, "OMG, I hate the smell of this," or "It makes me itch!" ;)
Yep, you can make a profit on this deal. Gotta love it! Here's how:
1. Create an account on Ebates here (my referral link; thanks!). They're a ten-year-old, very reputable cashback shopping rewards program.
2. Log into your Ebates account and in the search box, type Barnes to pull up Barnes and Noble. Click through to the store (you'll be activating 4% cash back).
3. On Barnes and Noble's website, in the search box, type Redbook. They have one-year subscriptions on sale for an amazingly low, almost free, $0.99. No shipping's added, either!
4. At checkout (at the last step before you confirm/submit your order), in the coupon box, enter this code that Ebates provides for an extra 20% off: H4E7B3W (it's good through Saturday, 5/2). Pay for your order by credit card or PayPal.
You'll pay $0.79 out of pocket for a year's subscription to Redbook. (Great Mother's Day gift!) This alone is an amazing deal. But it gets sweeter.
You'll get 4% cash back, or $0.03. PLUS, Ebates gives you a $5 bonus for making your first purchase through their site -- so you'll actually profit $4.24!

No CC required, no obligation, no need to cancel. They'll send you absolutely free their monthly issues from Sep thru Dec of this year. It's a wood-working magazine (duh).

I'm holding out for a free subscription to Pesticide-Laden Weekly. ;) C'mon, do they really have to stick the word "Organic" into the title? Isn't it pretty much understood that people who grow their own veggies want to be healthy, thus they're naturally going to grow organic? I think the word "Organic" is only being tossed out here as a marketing gimmick. Just my opinion.
Here's another source for cheap(er) restaurant gift certificates -- SkyAuction is doing a "One Time Buy-it-now Event" with blowout pricing on restaurant GCs from cities across the US. Here's the link:

I love this article -- it's people talking about what they've done in the name of frugality:
