My friend Susan introduced me to this site a few years ago and I think it's a wonderful cause, especially if you're an animal lover!

MilitaryMascots helps our troops who have befriended an animal overseas. They send care packages and they help match up servicemen with donors who will help them get their pet back home to their famlies.

Make sure you click on Meet Mascots and you can see the pictures and read the stories of some of these animals and their soldier friends. It's really touching.

They have a mailing list you might want to consider joining. I think it's a great cause -- please help if you can!
