AWESOME Book For Low-Carb Dieters or Those Considering One
I am not a fan of diet books. They don't give you the pros and cons of the diet; they just try to sell you on their particular philosophy.
This book is different.
The author reviews fourteen low-carb diets and analyzes the pros and cons of each. He talks about what carbs do to your body, good ones vs. bad ones, and tips to make a low-carb diet work for you.
One of my favorite parts of the book is on supplements -- what vitamins and minerals you can take (including recommended dosages) to help control your blood sugar, decrease fatigue, improve PMS symptoms, stimulate metabolism, and more.
I've had this book at my side for a couple of weeks now -- I find myself referring back to it often. It has helped me decide which style of low-carb diet I want to pursue, and I know for a FACT that the suggestions in the book have helped me break through a plateau in my weight loss (I'm down 25 pounds since February!).
I can't say enough good things about this book. If you're on a low-carb diet, or considering one, you should definitely read it!
