Belkin CushTop $2.57 After Rebate with Google Checkout

My laptop is always hot. Hubby bought me a folding plastic thingamajig that you put on your lap and set your laptop on top of, but it's no help at all. He saw a cool gadget in a SkyMall catalog called the Belkin CushTop -- a foam wedge you can set your laptop on. Comes with a storage pocket, too (whoo-hoo...). Anyway, their suggested retail price is $34.99, and y'all know me...I'm too cheap to pay that much.

Found this deal, though, and jumped right on it: Buy.com has it for $19.57 shipped (here's the direct link, hope it works!), with a $7 rebate, AND $10 off for new Google Checkout users. Your total: $2.57!

You can create a new Google Checkout account during the Buy.com checkout process. Open another window to gmail.com and click the button to create a new account. After you do, go back and provide that gmail login in the Google Checkout window. If you already have used Google Checkout in the past, use a different credit card number if you can (that's what I did).
