Taking Time Off

Update, 8/5/07: Hiya, friends! I'm back online, on a limited basis -- trying to catch up on emails and will post as time/energy permits. Don't let anybody tell you differently: hysterectomy is MAJOR surgery and it's not real pleasant, either! Getting a little better every day, and they say it takes 4 to 6 weeks to fully recover. I'm 2 weeks post-op and still taking pain meds and very weak with about zero stamina. Taking it one day at a time... Thanks for sticking with me through this!

Hi, Tipblog readers! Just a quick note to let you know that I will be offline for a while (a week? two? more? not sure). I am having a hysterectomy tomorrow, because my doctor suspects that I have a condition called adenomyosis. A very thorough (and easy-to-read) write-up about the condition is here. It isn't life-threatening, there's no cancer concerns, but because I don't want any more children and this would vastly improve my quality of life, hysterectomy is what my doctor and I decided would be best.

My doctor says that I'll be recovered from the surgery in 4 to 6 weeks. I should be able to be back online way before then but I may not feel up to updating my websites with any kind of regularity.

I'm still 100% committed to Tipblog and CompareRewards, and I'll be back online ASAP! Thanks for your continued support and I'll see ya when I see ya!
