Unbelievable Summer Clearance at JCPenney on Baby and Toddler Clothes

| | Comments (0)

Got a baby or toddler?

Stop what you're doing. Right now. Get up from your computer, grab your keys (and your money) and get to a JCPenney store. I'm not kidding with you. Do it. You won't be sorry.

I was at JCP yesterday and was passing through the baby department looking for the bigger kids' section to price school uniforms and saw racks upon racks of summer baby clothes marked down to $1.97 and $2.97. Same thing in the toddler section! These are nice, name brand clothes like Carters and Nike, some of them are SETS, all of them summer clothes including pajamas, and they're more than 75% off...the Nike shorts set I bought was 90% off!

Word of mouth travels fast, though, and by the time I left the store, my arms laden with clothes for my toddler nephew (gosh, I hope 18 months this summer translates to 2T next summer!), people were finding out and loading up on stuff.

Note: at my JCP, the lingerie department is right down the aisle from the kids' clothes, never has a line, and yes, you can check out there...even if they don't seem real happy about it. ;)

The BEST deals are in-store, but if you can't get out to the mall, you can still get some decent deals on JCPenney's website. Don't put anything into your shopping cart, though, until you go through a rewards program -- get an extra 4% cash back just by logging into your account at Ebates (create an account here if you don't have one already...and they'll give you a bonus $5, too), and then clicking through THEIR link to JCPenney!
